Anodizing

Anodizing

Our anodized coloring process is automated with precise timing control in order to achieve color consistency. We provide quality color-plating work which is smooth as any work for every purchase order. As a result, the customers can use all the ready-made parts to complete the product as required, including natural anodized color (silver), light brown, dark brown, black-brown, and black. The maximum anodized length is 7 meters.

Our aluminium surfaces include the following: matt anodized surface, which has a finish like a sand-blasted surface; and natural anodized surface, which has a slightly line pattern caused by the extrusion process and a film thickness ranging from 5 microns to 25 microns. Our wastewater treatment plant is compliant with Industrial Regulation Standards for cleaning wastewater from the production process before releasing it from the factory.

Anodizing Control Room

Anodizing is an anti-corrosion process of aluminium by the formation of aluminium oxide. Aluminium oxide formed by anodizing has small porosity at the surface. The color of the aluminium is formed by going through these many small porous holes. Then, the film layer is formed, which has both hardness and corrosion resistance to protect the surface. This allows cross-section aluminium profiles to be resistant to the climate and not rust, making it beautiful and suitable for decoration.

Testing based on the Standards of Color Plating

Testing Process Reference Standards
Measurement of Film Thickness ASTM D1400 , ASTM E376
Measurement of Color Differences and Gloss ASTM D2244
Corrosion Resistance Salt Spray Test* ASTM B117 , ASTM D1654

*This is a random testing, not for every lot of production.
